This is the beginning of something new. ChimanaTech is a company I’ve built to help innovative technologies find their place in land-based aquaculture.

I’ve spent the last years working across aquaculture engineering, R&D, and business development. Along the way, I’ve seen how difficult it is to bring new ideas to market in this sector. Good technologies often stall. Not because they don’t work, but because they don’t fit. The timelines are long. Trust is everything. And real-world conditions don’t wait for perfect prototypes.

That’s the space ChimanaTech is built for.

A bit about me

I’m trained as an engineer and have worked across system design, EU research projects, technology pilots, and market development. I’ve supported farmers, startups, researchers, and investors. And I’ve learned how complex and cautious this sector can be.

ChimanaTech is how I bring that experience together. It's how I keep contributing to a sector I believe in.

How I see the future

I believe in something called the adjacent possible. It’s the idea that innovation isn’t about giant leaps or distant futures. It’s about small steps, just beyond where we are today. It’s about seeing what’s already within reach.

The adjacent possible is not about forgetting the present and looking into the future. It’s about looking around.

In aquaculture, that means peeking outside our bubble and make outsider solutions work work with what we already have. It means helping technologies outside of aquaculture take root where they can grow inside aquaculture.

This blog is where I’ll share progress, lessons, and small reflections as I build ChimanaTech. I’ll also highlight what I’m seeing in the field, what excites me, and what still needs work.
