Tank-One

A fish tank with its own incorporated RAS module. That's it.

Tank-One is a cost-effective solution for fish holding in hatcheries, nurseries and laboratories. An outer ring covering half of the tank circumference houses the protein skimming, biofiltration, degassing and oxygenation chambers. Settleable solids are collected at the tank bottom, while suspended particles are removed by protein skimmers and externally connected bead filters, sand filters or cartridge filters.

Tank-One simplifies installation by requiring only a circulation pump, an air pump, a mechanical filter and a heater or chiller, all connected using flexible piping. The integrated design eliminates the need for separate life support systems, while its self-supporting structure reduces the need for additional scaffolding and platforms.

Having an independent life support system for each tank makes Tank-One particularly suitable for aquaculture laboratories conducting growth, nutrition and challenge experiments.

Technical specifications

• Standard volume: 1 m³ (other configurations available upon request).

• Recommended maximum stocking density: 20 kg/m³ for salmonids and marine fish; 40 kg/m³ for tilapia.

• Oxygenation: Diffused oxygenation is required at maximum stocking densities.

• Maximum feed load: 0.2 kg/day.
